O nouă garanţie a excelenţei la Complexul Lauder-Reut

Finalul anului trecut a adus o prestigioasă aniversare pentru Complexul Educaţional Lauder-Reut, şi anume împlinirea a două decenii de când a fost aruncată sămânţa educaţiei Lauder-Reut în România, prin înfiinţarea şcolii şi a grădiniţei din cadrul actualului Complex, care azi are şi un liceu de elită, clasat printre primele zece din ţară şi care a avut constant o promovabilitate de 100% la bacalaureat, din prima sesiune. Reamintim că anul trecut, Ministerul Educaţiei a acordat Complexului Lauder-Reut o Diplomă de Excelenţă pentru rezultatele obţinute de elevii acestuia la concursuri şi olimpiade naţionale şi internaţionale.

Tot la finele lui 2016, pentru a asigura în continuare calitatea procesului de învăţământ, conducerea Complexului Educaţional a decis înfiinţarea unui Board of Trustees alcătuit din personalităţi al căror statut profesional şi moral constituie o garanţie a faptului că şcoala cu care au acceptat să îşi asocieze numele este una de excepţie. Precizăm că Complexul Educaţional Lauder-Reut este guvernat în continuare de Fundaţia Ronald S. Lauder România, între ai cărei membri se află dr. Irina Cajal, subsecretar de stat în Ministerul Culturii, şi de Fundaţia Magna Cum Laude-Reut, sub preşedinţia Tovei Ben Nun-Cherbis, care îi are alături, în calitate de membri, pe Irina Cajal şi ing. Paul Schwartz. Prima reuniune a noului organism a avut loc în decembrie 2016 la Biblioteca Templului Coral din Bucureşti.

 Profesionalismul echipei Lauder Reut a creat faima acestei școli

În cuvântul său la întrunirea inaugurală a Board of Trustees de la Lauder-Reut, preşedinta Complexului Educaţional, a Fundației Ronald S. Lauder România şi a Fundaţiei Magna Cum Laude-Reut, Tova Ben Nun-Cherbis a spus: „Suntem mândri că profesionalismul echipei Lauder-Reut a creat faima acestei şcoli, în jurul căreia s-au aliat o mulţime de oameni de valoare, profesionişti la rândul lor în domeniile în care activează, ce vin în sprijinul viziunii noastre pentru pregătirea generaţiilor lumii de mâine. Mulţumim din suflet prietenilor vechi, care de două decenii sunt alături de noi, dar şi prietenilor mai recenţi, care ni s-au alăturat pe parcursul existenţei şcolii. Vă mulţumim mult pentru încrederea cu care ne-aţi învestit, pentru sprijinul pe care ni-l oferiţi şi pentru implicarea în creşterea şi educarea copiilor noştri. Avem împreună o misiune de valoare şi simţim că vom face lucruri minunate, în baza viziunii împărtăşite în educaţie, pentru care aveţi întreaga noastră apreciere”.

Înființarea Board of Trustees, într-o componentã valoroasã și diversificatã – o idee foarte bunã

 „Apreciez foarte mult această idee de Board of Trustees, iar faptul că există o componenţă atât de diversificată şi de valoroasă este un lucru extraordinar. În ce mă priveşte, accept să fac parte din acest Board”, a afirmat preşedintele Federaţiei Comunităţilor Evreieşti din România, dr. Aurel Vainer, la prima întrunire a membrilor acestei structuri. Vorbitorul a subliniat că „Lauder nu este numai o unitate de învăţământ, ci este un mod de educaţie complexă şi de formare a omului pentru propria persoană şi pentru societatea în care trăieşte. Aşadar, naşterea acestui Board of Trustees este un prilej de mândrie şi bucurie şi să dea Dumnezeu să avem rezultate cât mai bune, să nu fie numai întâlniri festive în care spunem cuvinte frumoase. Poate că veţi vedea acest Board ca un grup de reflecţie care nu cred că trebuie să se limiteze la şcoala propriu-zisă, pentru că suntem oameni atât de diferiţi aici, cu preocupări şi cunoştinţe multiple, putem dezbate şi probleme mai generale ale societăţii de astăzi. Deci, să îi dăm şi o caracteristică de grup de reflecţie”. Preşedintele F.C.E.R. a atras atenţia că prin existenţa Complexului Lauder s-a creat „o deschidere şi mai largă că­tre societatea neevreiască. În fond, noi, evreii din România, suntem o minoritate şi faptul că pe lângă noi şi împreună cu noi învaţă şi alţii este extraordinar. Şi vă asigur pe cei care, în calitate de părinţi, vă daţi copiii la Lauder, că veţi mai câştiga un capital: încă o limbă străină – ivrit. Este un lucru foarte valoros pentru că Israelul este astăzi o valoare mondială în ştiinţe, în arte, în cultură şi, dacă ai acces direct la informaţie în limba respectivă, este un lucru extraordinar”.

O cale de a avea rezultate și mai bune la Lauder-Reut

Membru al Board-ului Fundaţiei Magna Cum Laude-Reut, preşedinte al Comunităţii Evreilor din Bucureşti şi fost vicepreşedinte al F.C.E.R. pentru o lungă perioadă de vreme, Paul Schwartz a salutat înfiinţarea Board of Trustees ca pe o cale de „a avea rezultate chiar mai bune decât cele pe care le are acum Complexul Educaţional Lauder-Reut”. Vorbitorul a amintit că venirea la putere a comunismului a însemnat şi desfiinţarea tuturor şcolilor particulare, inclusiv a celor evreieşti. „Odată cu înfiinţarea şcolii Lauder, lucru pe care eu l-am salutat, a fost pentru prima oară când s-a reluat un învăţământ evreiesc tradiţional şi modern în România. Meritul, aşa cum s-a mai spus, este al lui Lauder, ca idee, al Tovei, care a condus echipa permanent, şi al întregului colectiv care a acţionat în această şcoală. (...) Evreii nu au avut un cuvânt de spus în conducerea României după venirea comuniştilor la putere. Dacă ar fi avut un cuvânt de spus, în mod evident ar fi fost şi şcoli cu limbă de predare ebraică. (...) Vreau să adresez felicitările mele, în primul rând Tovei, care a avut tăria să se lupte cu toate dificultăţile, ca şi întregului colectiv, să îi felicit pe elevi, care au înţeles că e altceva să faci o asemenea şcoală, iar rezultatele se văd în ceea ce au reuşit să obţină copiii care au absolvit şi au luat bacalaureatul la Lauder, toţi fiind în situaţii deosebite faţă de cei care au făcut şcoala în alte instituţii”, a subliniat Paul Schwartz.

Rabinul Rafael Shaffer a binecuvântat noul Board of Trustees

„Vreau să adresez două binecuvântări acestei adunări: în primul rând, dacă cineva vine cu o idee şi nu este acceptată, să aibă tăria să spună: Bine, eu gândesc aşa. Dar, pe de altă parte, dacă vine cu o idee bună, să fie acceptată, chiar dacă alţii vor spune: Da, eu nu am gândit aşa la început, dar e bine. Binecuvântez această adunare pentru a fi una în care fiecare să fie dispus să renunţe, la nevoie, dar să fie ascultată şi ideea lui, să fie deschidere pentru ca într-adevăr să fie realizat înaltul scop al acestei adunări, să ducă mai departe pe o cale bună educaţia tinerei generaţii, care este chiar baza viitorului societăţii noastre”.

Pentru a demonstra valoarea noii structuri şi capacitatea acesteia de a fi o garanţie şi un sprijin al excelenţei procesului educaţional de la Lauder-Reut, nu există argument mai pertinent decât de a reda integral componenţa Board of Trustees al Complexului Educaţional Lauder-Reut, din care fac parte 21 de membri:
