Copiii de la şcoala Tichon Hadash au vizitat Bucureştiul

Trei săptămâni după vizita unui grup de elevi de la  şcoala Lauder-Reut la Herzliya, colegii lor israelieni într-ale diplomaţiei le-au întors vizita. Au fost primiţi la Bucureşti cu aceeaşi căldură de familiile elevilor din România iar colegii lor au ţinut, la rândul lor, să le arate lucruri interesante,  atât în capitală cât şi în excursii făcute prin ţară. În primele zile, aşa cum am scris în titlu, s-au plimbat prin cartierele bucureştene. Au fost în Centrul Vechi şi pe lângă Piaţa Romană, în Cişmigiu şi la şosea, prin mall-uri şi la aqua Park dar şi la Templul Coral. Am petrecut cu ei o după-amiază, vizitând Muzeul Naţional Cotroceni nu numai muzeul de pictură, ci făcând şi un tur al Palatului. Şi pe mine m-au încântat sălile, mobilierul, stilurile camerelor. Am aflat multe despre obiceiurile celor două familii regale care au locuit acolo – a lui Carol I şi a lui Ferdinand. Copiii israelieni au fost foarte impresionaţi deoarece pentru mulţi dintre ei un astfel de palat a fost o noutate. Nu pentru toţi; unii mi-au povestit că au fost în excursii în străinătate unde au mai vizitat palate, astfel, una dintre fete mi-a spus că seamănă cu palatul reginei Angliei. În continuare, în cadrul programului generos întocmit de Şcoala Lauder, copiii au plecat la Sinaia unde au făcut excursii şi au vizitat Castelul Peleş (probabil că aici şi-au dat seama de asemănarea stilului cu cel din Cotroceni). Au petrecut un timp şi la Râşnov, iar la C.I.R. Cristian au participat la un Oneg Şabat, au vizitat Braşovul, castelul Bran iar, în drum spre Bucureşti, s-au oprit şi la un mall din Băneasa.

Dar, în afara părţii distractive, elevii israelieni care urmează cursuri de diplomaţie au avut prilejul să participe şi la un eveniment aemănător cu cel la care au luat parte în februarie, în Israel,  elevii Şcolii Lauder. Dacă ei au fost la MUN-ul de la Even Yehuda, despre care am amintit în reportajul din numărul trecut, elevii israelieni au participat, în Aula Facultăţii de Drept a Universităţii din Bucureşti, la deschiderea sesiunii BISMUN-România şi la unele dezbateri. Spre deosebire de cel din Israel, organizat pentru elevi, BISMUN – Bucharest International Students Model United Nation - este  realizat mai ales de studenţi dar sunt invitaţi şi elevi ai liceelor unde există interes pentru MUN. Actuala ediţie, cea de-a noua, a durat aproximativ o săptămână, cu peste 250 de participanţi din diverse ţări. Fundaţia Lauder –Reut Magna cum Laude este unul dintre principalii sponsori ai BISMUN România. După ceremonia de deschidere, elevii israelieni, împreună cu colegii lor de la Lauder, au participat la prima zi a lucrărilor desfăşurate la SNSPA, alt partener al BISMUN.

Din păcate, nu am putut sta de vorba cu copiii israelieni la sfârşitul acestui periplu, ca să aflu impresii definitive. Dar chiar şi numai după trei zile de prezenţă în România, mi-am dat seama că prietenia începută în Israel între copiii români şi israelieni s-a consolidat în urma primirii călduroase şi a impresiilor minunate de care au avut parte elevii de la Tichon Hadash. Şi, fără doar şi poate, ea va avea şi continuare.
