MEGADEBATE SAU COMPETIȚIA DUELIȘTILOR CONTEMPORANI

O experiență inedită pentru fiecare dintre noi, cei prezenți sâmbătă și duminică, 18 și 19 noiembrie 2017, la concursul „MegaDebate”, aflat la prima ediție și care s-a adresat elevilor de gimnaziu.

 Câmpul nostru de luptă a fost o sală de conferințe, arma a fost spada gândirii, iar scuturile erau argumentele și contrargumentele. Au fost dueluri acerbe, în care cele două echipe combatante au căutat să câștige în luptă dreaptă. Iar la finalul oricărei dezbateri, respectul era câștigat de fiecare dată, căci, indiferent de cât de tare fiecare își argumenta punctul de vedere, dezbaterea se încheia cu o strângere de mână.

   În acest concurs școala noastră a fost reprezentată de trei echipe:

- Team 1 format din Maria Bahnă, Ilinca Maxim, Ana Cioponea (a VII-a) și Cătălina Neacșu (a VIII-a B);

- Team 2 format din Ariadna Albu, Sara Lupu (a VII-a) și Sara Toma (a VIII-a A);

- Team 3 format din Ana Maria Scutelnicu, David Nadir, Marcus Piso și Philip Dima (a VIII-a B). Toate echipele au fost coordonate de domnul profesor de Public Speaking, Nae Șovăială.

Cu multe emoții, dar dârzi în a-și apăra punctele de vedere și în a-și susține pozițiile, elevii noștrii ne-au reprezentat cu succes și cu bucurie. Echipa formată din Ana Maria Scutenicu, David Nadir, Marcus Piso şi Philip Dima ne-au reprezentat cu mândrie până în semifinale, trecând de primele faze ale competiţiei. Bucuria de a participa la un astfel de eveniment a fost cea care a contat cel mai mult.

Fiecare dintre tinerii noștrii dueliști a învățat multe despre dezbatere și despre sine. Și cum victoria este doar o problemă de punctaj, ei sunt marii câștigători, căci au avut un prim contact cu o lume nouă pentru ei, pe care de abia de acum înainte vor începe să o cunoască cu adevărat. Pentru ca succesul să fie cuantificabil, organizatorii ne-au oferit daruri şi diplome, obiecte care să îi facă pe dueliştii contemporani să nu uite niciodată de primul pas făcut pe calea dezbaterii.

  • „ Am participat la MegaDebale și recunosc că m-am distrat. Am acumulat multă experiență. Am apreciat foarte mult faptul că juriul ne-a explicat ce am greșit și ce trebuie să îmbunătățim, îndemându-ne să participăm la cât mai multe concursuri de acest fel. Am apreciat foarte mult și faptul că toți participanții au primit cadouri, deoarece astfel, cu toții, ne-am simțit câștigători.” – Sara Lupu, clasa a VII-a.
  • „M-am simțit foarte bine că am participat la priul meu concurs de debate. Mi-aș dori să continui să particip și, datorită sugestiilor date de juriu, doresc să excelez și să-mi îmbunătățesc vorbitul în public.” – Ariadna Albu, clasa a VII-a
  • „ Concursul de debate a fost o experiență plăcută, pe care aș vrea să o repet. Organizatorii au pregătit bine concursul. Moțiunile propuse au fost pe placul nostru și ne-au făcut, pe mine și pe echipa mea, să cercetăm foarte mult și, totodată, ne-a unit ca o echipă.” – Ana Maria Scutelnicu, clasa a VIII-a B.
